Airport Information

​

  • Recommended Airport - Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) - Closer to Cherry Hill and Philadelphia area, nearest airport to South Jersey Jamaat. There are car rental options at this airport.

  • Wilmington Airport and Trenton Airport provide domestic airlines for our national travellers.

  • Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) provides international flights and connects to New Jersey Turnpike, highway to provide express route between airport and South Jersey Masjid. This airport provides car rental options.

  • Due to flight availability, John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) can be selected, however, this airport will be further from the relay center and may not be as convenient. This airport provides car rental options.

Local Transportation Information

  • No convenient public transport option is available directly to Masjid.

  • Uber and Lyft options are available for private and ride sharing. Convenient for nearby hotels, ranging between $10 - $20 for a 1 way ride. 

  • Rentals such as Enterprise, Hertz, or Uncle Mikes Car Rentals are available nearby.

  • NJ Transit Bus number 406 stop - Perina Blvd at Astoria Blvd - is closet to Masjid and the stop is ~10 minutes walk to Masjid. Bus route varies and may or may not be time efficient for commute based on origin location.

  • For local driving and car rentals, please carry a valid driving permit in the form of a United States license or an international driving permit.

  • Wawa provides access to quick snacks, food, and drinks if needed 

  • Friendly Food Mart and Whole Food Market provides options for fresh fruits and grocery items along with frozen and dairy products.

Connectivity

  • Include international data pack add-on for your network provider to keep yourself connected during your travel and stay near relay center. 

  • Most places will have WiFi connectivity available but may have slower speeds depending on traffic. 

  • There are eSIM provision available for short duration add-on affiliated with T-Mobile. Research on best option that works best for you. 
  • Google Fi provides free trial wireless connection for 7-days, and additional package can be purchase through the app. 
  • More eSIM and service provider options available on Tello.com
